- - KML HIGH SCHOOL NEWS AND INFORMATION - - 

= SUPPORT YOUR KML CHEER TEAM! =

   On Saturday, Ju​ne​ ​20​​​ from 9:00am to 3:00pm, the KMLHS Cheer Team will be conducting a car wash at the Speedway on County Line Road in Germantown.  Come and support your award winning cheerleaders; proceeds will go towards the 2015-2016 athletic budget.  We appreciate your support!

= E3 - KML SUMMER ACADEMY =

   KML will be hosting various academic, fine arts, and sports camps this summer for both youth and adults. Please pass the information on to friends and family that would be interested in attending. Camp flyers and registration forms are available in the rack outside the KML main office, from your elementary school office, or on our website at kmlhs.org/e3 .

= S(ubstitute) C(ash) R(ebate) I(ncentive) P(rogram) =

   Have any special plans for this summer? Are you planning a week long getaway to another state or just a mini-getaway somewhere close for an extended weekend? Why not check out all the great Scrip cards that are available for the destination you are going. There are even Universal Cards from Discover (1.25%) and American Express (1.25%) that you can special order to help pay for all your purchases while on the road. There are even Scrip cards for most major hotel chains that you can purchase: Best Western (12%), Choice Hotels (3-4%), Clarion (3-4%), Comfort Inn (3-4%), Hyatt (10%) and Marcus Resorts (9%), just to name a few. With a little pre-planning you are sure to see your Scrip Rebate grow.  The Scrip office will be closed the week of July 6th to July 10th. Please plan ahead.

= HELP WANTED =

   An Outside Maintenance position is open at KML.  The job includes athletic field prep and lawn care.  Part time seasonal, 20 – 30 hours per week, April thru November.  Contact Jody Hansen at 262-677-4051 x 1109 or jody....@kmlhs.org for more information.

= CROWN OF LIFE OPEN HOUSE & CONCERT =

   Get ready to go “hog wild” on Saturday June 13.  Bring your hungry friends and family to see the newly expanded church and school at Crown of Life in Hubertus  Free food & fun from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by a free “Songs We Carry” Christian concert by Mike Westendorf from  6:30 – 8:00pm!!  Get a taste of Mike's music at www.youtube.com/watch?v=vycBMRF8pFg. Crown of Life Lutheran Church & School is located at 1292 Tally Ho Trail, Hubertus.  Don’t bring anything but your appetite! (or love for music!)

= CANTICUM NOVUM CONCERT =

   Canticum Novum - a WELS Chamber Choir, is presenting sacred concerts the week of June 15th – June 21st in Wisconsin. The concerts will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, on Thursday, June 18, at 6:30pm, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenville, WI on Friday, June 19, at 7:00pm, Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton on Saturday, June 20, at 7:00pm, and at Grace Lutheran Church in Downtown Milwaukee on Sunday, June 21, at 10:30am.  Concerts are free to the public with a freewill offering collected to help support the mission of the ensemble. = VBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED =

   High school students are needed as Vacation Bible School volunteers at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cedarburg on July 25, 9 am to 3 pm (orientation at 8 am).  Volunteers are needed to supervise bouncy houses and other play activities, lead craft activities, and hand out snacks.  Please contact David Bartelt at david....@kmlhs.org by June 19 if you are able to help.
