= YOUR GIFTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE =
God provides excellence in Christian education through his people. THANK YOU!
With your help, we met our goal of 150 Builders in 2014!! We had 42 new donors join the Builders program in the last quarter of 2014. Our special donor will be giving KML a gift this quarter of $26,000 ($500 for each Builder and $5000 for reaching our Builder goal). To God be the Glory!
We ask His blessing on this new year as we strive to reach our 2015 goal of 300 Builders. Have you joined the KML family of Builders yet www.kmlhs.org/autogift?
= CALL NEWS =
On Monday, December 16, the KML General Board extended divine calls to replace Mr. Deibert and Mr. Mellon who are retiring. Mr. Scott Hill from Arizona Lutheran Academy has returned our call to serve in our English department. Mr. Dave Kramer, a biology teacher at Menomonee Falls High School and member at Morning Star has returned our call to teach in our science department. God-willing, new English and science calls will be issued at the General Board meeting on Monday, February 2, at 7:00pm.
= CHARGER CLUB SPONSORS A DOG & SUDS NIGHT =
Please join us TOMORROW night for food and fun at the KML vs. Sheboygan North home girls basketball game on Saturday, January 24. The Charger Club will serve hot dogs and Sprecher root beer floats in the cafeteria after the JV and Varsity games. Purchase tickets for food when you come to the game or after the games are over. Hope you can make it to the game to cheer the Chargers on and join in the fellowship after the victory!
= DONKEY BASKETBALL =
Join us for a fun family fun event on Sunday February 15 at 3pm, in the KML gym. Our teams will consist of our grade school staff, KML staff, students, alumni and possibly a surprise appearance, all competing against each other in a game of basketball, while riding donkeys. You never know what a donkey might do. Watch for more details on when to purchase advance tickets. Proceeds will be use to defray the cost of replacing two Automated External Defibrillator units.

= S(ubstitute) C(ash) R(ebate) I(ncentive) P(rogram) =
With the changing of the year, why not make some small changes to the way you shop. By utilizing Scrip gift cards for your daily purchases like gas, groceries, and restaurants you can earn credit towards your current or future KML student's tuition. It's never to early to start and why not get the whole family involved. If your relatives live nearby, let them know about the program too and watch the savings add up.
We still have some small denomination gift cards on hand from Panera $5, Target $10, and Walmart $10.
= LIVING WITH STINKING THINKING: A PARENTING DISCUSSION =
Adults of all generations are invited to a parenting discussion on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, 6:30-7:30pm at
Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Hubertus.
Presenter: Pastor Phil Merton ministers for us in places we cannot easily go, the Wisconsin State Institutions, like hospitals, jails and prisons.
Discussion topic: “Living with Stinking Thinking.” Do you find yourself making the same mistakes over and over? Do you find yourself making promises you can’t keep? Do you waste precious emotional energy on resentments, self-hatred, and self-pity? We all have some distorted logic rattling around in our skulls- call it “stinking thinking.” But we’re not helpless victims! Pastor Phil Merton will share with us how our God’s grace leads us in living lives free of the dominance of “stinking thinking.”
For whom: All parents of every generation from our church, school, preschool,Sunday school, child care and community are encouraged to attend.
Purpose: Joining our hearts, heads and hands together for growth in life, parenting and family skills.
Sponsors: Crown of Life’s Leadership, Board of Christian Education and Faculty.
Child care: Provided by COL 7th grade-12th grade youth with adult supervision.
Plan today to attend and announce your attendance by phoning our church/school Administrative Assistant, Dawn Schaenzer,
262-628-2550. Please give her your name, number of persons attending and children needing child care.
