Hello,

fastsave-kb inserts a call to reset-kb in the saved file. Is this really mandatory?

Francis - I've uploaded KM 2.0.48 with a :reset-kb nil option on
save-kb and fastsave-kb. From RELEASE-NOTES.txt:

2.0.48 - New optional keyword argument (... :reset-kb nil) added to
save-kb and
fastsave-kb. By default, save-kb and fastsave-kb include a
(reset-kb) at the start of the saved KB. This keyword suppresses
this.

(save-kb "myfile.km" [:reset-kb nil])
(fastsave-kb "myfile.fkm" [:reset-kb nil])
