From TDT to Kwik

Dear Klustaview stuff,
I would like to try to use your softoware, but we use a TDT system. Is there a way to import my data in your software or to convert it to Kwik format?
Working with TDT I have the data in the following format:
- .sev
- .Tbk
- .tev
- .tnt
- .tsq
I can also export my data in .mat.

Hi Sara,

in Renart's lab, we've developed a C code to convert our TDT ephys data in dat files, which are a possible input for klusta software. Would you like to take a look at it ? 

Further, you can use a matlab function, provided by TDT people, in order to extract information (ephys data, events, etc) from TDT files.

Hey all,

I wrote a script at one point to convert a set of TDT-in-old-MATLAB-format files (BASENAME_1.mat, BASENAME_2.mat, [...]) to .dat (this may or may not be helpful for you, but I didn't have any source .tdt files - I don't know how easy they are to convert to a set of .mat files)

It's at https://github.com/nippoo/kwiktools/blob/master/tdtmat2dat.py.

Call it with tdtmat2dat.py BASENAME OUTPUTDAT (i.e. python tdtmat2dat.py /path/to/my_experiment_ outputfile.dat)
