This has only been happening to me within the past week, but it is really hurting my business. I am always sending a folder with either video files or photos. Generally people are opening the link on their phone with the intention of saving them to their phone.

Basically what is happening is when I send someone the link to the folder, for them it either says that the folder is empty, or it shows the files but when they click on them it says the file type is not supported and so they can't view them or save them. This seems to happen whether they are using the Dropbox app or they open the link using Safari. The same thing also happens if they try to open the link to the folder on desktop.

I have double checked and I know I am sending them the correct link and near the link when I copy it it literally says "anyone with this link will have access to these files" but I guess that is not the case for some reason. It also doesn't seem to matter if the person is signed in to their account or not.

So, if you are sending out a link and people are saying its empty what happens if you go to the link? Is it empty? Can you see the files on your desktop in the Dropbox folder and at the website if you go via www.dropbox.com/home ?

If they are being asked to sign in the link being sent is either as one which has edit permissions or has restrictions on it. If you go to www.dropbox.com/home and check on the Share button next to the ones you have shared if it says 'Can edit' that is probably the issue. You can also do a share there as a test by just tapping on the 'Share Link' button. Then to test it rather than send it to people use an incognito or private browsing session.

You helped me discover my naiveity - in the past, I moved files to Dropbox and they immediately synced so DUH, when I moved them to the desktop app I thought I was moving them to the "cloud" since they were small and synced quickly.

I was trying to move some large photo files to DB and DUH, thought it was all done and synced when I saw them in the desktop folder. So, the problem is the queue and my stupidity. You helped on both counts. :

Hi, when trying to attach files to an email some folders are empty (but files are there if I go to dropbox.com) and some folders are full. Folders that are full are shared with a different group of people to the folders that are blank. Can you help to resolve this urgently for us? Same problem if I try to attach something here on this post. Thanks, Erica

This may be an easy question to answer but what I am trying to do is use JMP to count the number of files contained within a specific directory and return a value of either 0 if none exist or the number of files.

In JMP 10 and 11 an empty directory gives an empty list, not a missing value and I would thus expect Is Missing() to return 0. Strangely, If applied to an empty list Is Missing() returns an empty list, not 0 or 1 that is the expected output from a boolean function. I am not sure how it works in JMP 9.

Is Missing() on an empty list will return an empty list, because it is operating on each element of a list. If the list is empty, there are no elements for Is Missing() to operate on, so it returns the empty list. However, a better way to see this is the following example:

I have just got the same error, my vault shows as empty on my laptop but not on my phone. I added a new Login on the laptop and it appeared on the phone but the laptop vault remains blank. This is concerning seeing as we use it for business purposes. Is there any news or updates about this? Any threads on Reddit or otherwise? Looking at other password managers as a result. The logistics of giving everyone access on their phones is not feasible.

Could you please provide some details? Which operating system (including version) are you using, and which browser (including version) are you using? Is your Bitwarden account hosted on vault.bitwarden.com, vault.bitwarden.eu, or on your own server?

Update: Customer Support said the %2 was a visual bug (?) and that I should delete the browser tab. This actually helped when my Windows laptop started showing the same error. I imported the backup vault into the Bitwarden on my Thinkpad and everything was great until the error showed up again on the Thinkpad. This time I deleted the browser tab immediately and got the vault back again when I logged in.

Finally, you can set a condition to factor in whether a column is empty or not, enabling you to set reminders and notifications for situations where critical information is missing from columns

I am attempting to create a conditional arcade expression that will list all of the fields that do not have a null value with an individual label and not show the field at all if the field is null. My current expression is below.

This expression works in that it does not show the label or null value, but in the ArcGIS Portal pop up, it leaves an empty line for each one that is null, and i need it to not be there at all so the pop up is clean. As you can see below, this is creating empty lines in the popup.

You can, but it will require multiple expressions and some html to do this (if you want to show it using html). Or you can create a larger expression that constructs the text to display and omits empty values.

I need help with an error appearing when uploading my excel survey sheet (.xls) to the xlsform online. Sorry if this has been asked already, I am very new to ODK and I am trying to get my head around this.

I have the two tabs (survey and choices) and the compulsory headers. I doubled checked that everything is spelled correctly and that the compulsory columns are all filled in. However I still get the error "Error: The survey sheet is either empty or missing important column headers". Do you know why this is?

For instance, in the attached screenshot. When I am using the "none of" filter, I'd expect that I would be excluding people from the list. So when the check box comes up to ask "include records where property name is empty" I read it as "Include records where its empty into the none of" filter.

In this case, I don't want to exclude people who have no property value, so I leave the check box unchecked. But because it's actually talking about the property as a whole, not the "none of" filter, I am missing a chunk of people who are have missing values in that property.

I would suggest maybe having this area specify that we're talking about the list as a whole, not just the filter applied to the property. Or maybe available to check before applying the "none of" "equal to" etc. additional filters.

This could be easily fixed if HubSpot updated that line of text to specify that they the checkbox on the filter doesn't apply to the filter, but to the results. For example, "Include records where "Property Name" is blank in result."

I have just redesigned a dashboard that my organization used and got rid of a lot of unused real estate on the page, but now have a lot of empty space at the bottom of the dashboard (see image below).

If you go into edit mode on the dashboard and right click in the whitespace, there is an option to Consolidate Empty Space. Sometimes when you do this it moves some of your widgets around, but I find it generally helps with this problem.
