M.TECH PROJECT/PRACTICE SCHOOL GUIDELINES

Applicable from 2014-16 admitted batch onwards

The Guidelines are intended to give both PG students and supervisor at the K L University with a set of procedures and expectations that will make the Practice School, project work and evaluation process easier, more predictable, and more successful. These Guidelines should be interpreted as the minimum requirements for M.Tech degree to be awarded by K L University.

 

M.Tech students are required to culminate their learning by applying the acquired knowledge and analytical skills to any real world problem either by show casing a piece of academic research through a project or by analysing and practicing a live industrial problem or a combination of them in appropriate proportions. These guidelines provide a set of procedures and expectations to accomplish it either through practice school or project work in either semesters or in any one of the semesters as per the table-1 given below.

1. In-Semester Evaluation  

Project Work during In-semester evaluation either in Semester-III or/and Semester-IV shall be assessed for 50 marks as per the table-3 given below.
