Hi,

We have been in touch more or less a year ago, and now I would like to update you about my project and ask for collaboration.

Last year I started a photographic project called Sown (dansambo.com/sown.php) interconnecting different community gardens night time. The work has been taking into consideration the city of Glasgow, as a pilot city, and aims to create a connection between a series of green living farming spaces in different urban environments in Europe.

Sown is a project where every single photo represents the effort made by a group of people, to preserve and transform the world around them, a small local revolution that on a larger scale could make the whole world a better place. The work creates connection between communities, small groups and neighborhoods in and within different cities in Europe, empowering the movement of urban farming, identity, sense of place and the social cohesion. The final result is a series of photographs of light installations in the urban garden where the energy comes why very long extension cables from the houses of the neighbors.

At the moment I am in the Netherlands for a three months long residency, which will help me to expand the project in this European region. http://www.kik-site.nl/
but the long term plan is to create a network of this organizations and groups from different European cities. I think at the moment I will mainly focus on Amsterdam, Den Haag, and Bruxelles but ideas and suggestions are welcome.

I attached some of the photograph from the pilot project in Glasgow.
Let me know what you think.

I am looking for guides and guidelines, people to meet and discuss with, connection to see even more gardens, tips to chose the most interesting projects and stories to write down, access to the gardens night time and in some situation maybe hospitality for the night if the place is far away and there is no way of getting back, support to install the lights night time and access to the garden night time, help to create connection with the neighbors when the gardens doesn't have an energy source itself.

I wish we could collaborate.
Let me know what you think.

Thank you

All the best
