Sairae -ae- Bahar. Aravalli Biodiversity Park Gurgaon

We continue our silver jubilee walks. This time we have jaunt in the jungle of Aravalli in Gurgaon. The Aravalli Biodiversity Park was a wasteland and mining place not so long ago. The forest has been revived with native vegetation and as a result has attracted many animals which have become scarce in the region due to habitat loss and human intervention
Join us this Sunday to look at what miracles Nature and humans can do when they work together. Meet the birds who are very active these days and are at their vocal best. Catch the call of the barbet, the chirpy tailor bird, the dancing drongo, and others. The park supports 150+ bird species and has over 300 species of native plants. Several mammals and reptiles also like to call it home.
Leading the walk will Mr. Vijay Dhasmana is an ecological gardener who specialises in ‘rewilding’ projects that bring back natural flora and fauna into severely degraded landscapes and has been leading the restoration of the area and turn it in to a shining jewel in the urban jungle of Gurgaon
