Miniature paintings which were produced in India from roughly 10th to 19th century are fascinating to study for their intricate details, emotional depth and artistic excellence.The Indian miniature tradition first sprouted its wings in the early schools of Jain, Pala and Sultanate miniature. Later the major schools of Rajasthani, Mughal, Pahari and Deccani miniature emerged. It is fascinating to examine how their styles were constructed by an exchange of aesthetic and thematic elements amongst each other. Get ready to go on a journey of aesthetic delight.
Anoushka is a budding slam poet and visual artist.
Sumedha is an amateur artist and art history enthusiast.
They both have recently graduated from high school and would like to share their mutual love for art with you.
