Hey all,
That is correct;  huge scandal there is a book about it;  they just hired
a new head of school starting in July; I had a chance to speak closey in
November with the current interim. I would prefer to talk off line; It is
very very liberal there;  they have a lot going on with residential life;
they host an annual conference each year that many boarding school staff
attend and is very good.  I don't know much of Choate just that we
sometimes get some of their girls who can't handle the rigor of the
prep/boarding school pacing.  I hope this helps- Y

sort of spooky to hear from you all today as I spent yesterday afternoon talking with carney.  my district has "pink slipped" all of the  non-tenured teachers (including me, of course), and so I am looking around.  the pink slip doesn't necessarily mean I won't have a job for September (union mess and rules and junk), but i must say i was pretty excited about the ideas for jobs back in the independent school world.  so.... who knows?

otherwise, life is good. weather today awesome.  i can walk to beach from my house, and you can bet i will do that today!
