Hi Mike,

It is great to hear from you and congratulations for getting involved in opening a new school!

I am starting my fourth year as Head of School at LAS. It took some time to be able to make a real positive impact but it is happening. My wife, Stephanie, is working as one of the two doctors in the town of Leysin. And we have a cute 2-year old (Anna Claire) running around full of energy.

Unfortunately I am unable to make to the Klingstein reunion in October. I wish you all the best at Cristo Rey!

Great to hear from you!  I, too, am unable to attend as I am in the middle of a search right now and October is set up to be insane with travel and interviews.  That said, I would love for us to continue to talk via email and catch up.  If you all haven't, please get on Facebook and join the Kling2003 group page.  Good photos and dialogue there (Thanks, Kate!!!).

All is well here in Charlotte.  Lacy and I are doing well.  She is teaching MS French at a local public school, and Michaela (6th grade), James (3rd grade), and Katherine (Kindergarten) are all at Cannon School with me- which is really cool.

Hi Mike, Mark and Matt and friends,

Yep, still here. This is my 34th year and only 32 more to catch up with Mr. Boyden. I had a wonderful time at our 5th reunion and wish I could join you in the city. Life is good here...never dull. They moved 9 girls into my building with over enrollment 4 years ago. Rich and I live on the 2nd floor, so I am back in the role of a faculty resident. But I love living with and teaching adolescents, mentoring new teachers, and in my spare time chairing the math department. But getting to the city mid- week probably won't happen. Send pictures and enjoy your time together.

Hey, Everyone! I've not looked very carefully at the calendar, but I am 95% sure I can be at the event.  Last year, at my high school reunion, I walked around with Skype on my laptop.  Maybe there is a potential for a technological reunion of some kind? I am still in Westport.  I get vested at 10 years; a pension is a hard thing to walk away from.  Two more years, then maybe a return to that Carney, Sandoe fair.  :) Boy, time goes fast. Great to hear the updates!  As for me, I am still in Montreal, but left The Study in June 2010 and have just officially launched my own consulting business  – lizfalco consulting, strategic solutions for educators - while I miss the school community, I'm enjoying the intellectual challenge of helping schools on a range of projects and am appreciating a more flexible, balanced schedule.
