Dear Denise,

Thank you for the concern.  I happened to change access permissions for the group yesterday - Brian was having some trouble adding a few people to the list - and I forgot to change the access back.  Members are only allowed to post to the group - the kind of spam we received today won't be allowed by non-members of the group - I reset this today after receiving those posts, too.  My apologies for the intrusion.

A note to all: please take heed to Denise's precautions - if you receive something that looks like spam, please don't open the messages and just delete them.  You shouldn't get anything else in the future, but one never knows...
