No expert either, but i would try right-clicking it on windows disk manager, and looking at the options. If the option to open is there, open in explorer, or if nothing else just view the properties. In properties go on the last tab and check for any errors or compatibility issues. Also in disk manager, what happens when you highlight it and then click on the icons on the toolbar with a folder and search icons together.. or any of those. Lastly I would click on the question marks "?"
I dont know, everything seems fine, it says that its working and no errors are showing up. And the questionmark just opens a tab in the webbrowser and searches " windows 10 disk manager" (even if i have windows 11, thats a really stupid help button)
If thats the case, then there is definitely something wrong with it. If it's brand new, it could be that it sat in the heat for a really long time ? Maybe and it became damaged internally. Or dropped. If you shake it, is there any rattling parts inside? Or maybe try spraying the connectors with a contact cleaner spray, or compressed air (dusting spray) if anything maybe WD-40. If using wd40 shake the excess fluid out and dry with qtips. Or just clean with qtips. Is there anything stored inside it? Sometimes you may have encrypted the data inside the stick so that nobody can use it unless its plugged into the original device etc.
Yes, could be. If it was ever subject to direct sunlight it definitely can lose its marbles. I had a few dvds that sat in the sunlight for a short while and got damaged. That was inside a dvd box to protect it but no matter. The sun mustve scrambled the discs because no dvd player was ever able to read the disc if even detect a disc at all. So that could very well be rhe issue. Sorry
Dd's set just says "cover the design with ironing paper and fuse beads with a household iron" - so not much help there really! I haven't fused dd's yet (she's not quite finished it) but I'm assuming it would be on a high temperature without steam.
The ironing paper came with the beads - it looks like baking parchment.
You can get special "ironing paper" which is like greaseproof paper.
Ironing is a bit trial and error! If you leave the iron on too long you can end up with a melted board (voice of experience!) I tend to iron until they are joined (prob a min) then take off the board then iron again to really fuse them so the back no longer shows the individual circles.
hope this helps
Wrong its hot iron .
Here:-
Once the design is completed you need to get your grown up helper to place the ironing paper on top of your design & run the hot iron over it until the beads begin to melt into one another thus sticking together & forming a permenant picture. You need to be careful during this that you don't accidently dislodge any of the beads. This takes about 1 minute. Leave it to cool down for a minute or so & then gently prize the design off the peg board. On the finished design one side will look melted & the other side just looks like it did before you ironed it. The peg board & the ironing paper can be used again & again.
Yup just use greaseproof. I used foil the other day too! Iron em and kerp lifting the paper. You'll see when they're stuck. Then i take em off the peg board and iron the other side a bit. They're quite tough. It's hard to go wrong. Can i recommend a great craft we did with em? We love mario so got images of the old bit style mario that was really blocky and copied him with hama beads. Looked ace! We hung em on our xmas tree. Iron good though or bits fall off.
Paint one side of the dice the same color (brown or white). To create a "crooked stick" boil or steam one stick until you can bend it without it breaking; shape the stick and secure it, then let is dry over night.
The object of the game is to acquire as many sticks as possible then bankrupt your opponent. There are three phases to the game. First, players try to accumulate as many sticks as possible to create a primary pile. Second, players need to move their sticks into a treasure pile. And then the third phase of the game occurs when one player has enough markers in their second pile to bankrupt the opponent.
Replacing the batteries
The battery has been designed to last for up to 2,000 shots, although this depends on the conditions of use. If the Bluetooth remote release does not respond after you press the release button (2), or does not connect to the terminal device, etc., change the battery as follows: See (B).Care and Maintenance

Oh, and a totally unrelated "fun" fact. I am continuously BLE scanning on the Windows computer and I have already burned the Bluetooth cards on two different laptops after a few months. It appears the Wifi+Bluetooth cards were never designed for this continuous operation. I am now using external Bluetooth sticks (TP Link).
