Alert does not repeat

I've been using this app for awhile and it worked great, I switched from ATT to Verizon and got a new phone. Now the alert only sounds once, and does not repeat as it did before.

The old device, where it worked was a:

SAMSUNG-SM-G890A (Galaxy 6 Active)

Android version 5.0.2

Build LRX22G.G890AUCU2AOF4

The new device

SM-G920V (Galaxy S6)

Android 5.1.1

Build LMY47X.G920VVRU4BOG9

Any ideas on how to fix this?
