As of this morning the Moore Park eaglet was still perched at the nest, stretching its wings but making no effort to fly.

I wish I was confident in IDing sapsuckers; they were very active in the park this morning. I saw what I’d call redbreasted and red-naped but I’m aware of cross-breeding so maybe I shouldn’t worry about positive ID’s and just enjoy seeing them. Also saw a white-headed woodpecker, but not near the nest hole.

Has this eaglet fledged? I watched it for awhile a few weeks ago during a visit to the area, and am curious.
