I observed this bird (see photo) along Hill Road about 1 1/4 mile south of the state line. Any others seen lately?

I may have seen one at our "old" house at 2418 Hope about 8:50 this morning. It was sitting by the edge of the pavement as I drove by at about 20 mph. It was lighter in color than a Eurasian and had the strong collar extending farther around toward the front of the neck as shown in your pic. Unfortunately it flew off in the opposite and I was unable to relocate it within my time constraints. It could still be in the area as my neighbor toward South 6th feeds doves.
