Snowy Egrets at Tule Lake

How common are Snowy Egrets in winter in the Basin? I was surprised to see three today (1/13/26). They were with Common Egrets and Great Blue Herons in the first water-filled ditch on the right as soon as you turn onto the Tule Lake Auto Tour Route. Photo attached (apologies for the poor quality; they were against the light).
