More on Clark's and Western grebes, Putnam's Point area.

I spent around 4 hours there yesterday morning. They were very active, and there were enough grebes with babies to have a good time.

No one can predict how they will act on any given day.

I suggest you scout the whole area before deciding where you want to be, and know they move around some during the day.

The number of grebes with babies is still far short of past years.

An interesting note, I saw NO Clark's grebes with babies, but have seen a few this year.
