Hello,
I feel the need to report the birds I saw in Moore Park this morning, beginning to look more like Spring.
The bald eagle pair was standing on the nest so maybe its not to late for nesting. The following is my species list of sightings:
Bewick’s wren, varied thrush, spotted towhees, bush tits, both ruby and gold crowed kinglets and of course, robins, flickers, scrub jays and mourning doves. Strangely, I didn’t see one junco though they were all over the place two days ago. I didn’t see any red-breasted sapsucker that I saw earlier in the week but it was likely them pecking away.
