Trafigura - Opening

Hello everyone,

Trust all of you are doing very well.

We have an opening in Trafigura for the position of Concentrates Operations. A very brief JD is as per below:

Co-ordinating the shipments with our customers and suppliers

•Invoicing while observing and maintaining payments terms (Holding Certificates, CAD, Letters of Credit, Bank collections, Open Account etc).
•Insuring cargoes while observing incoterms
•Taking LME pricing orders and declaring quotational periods
•Arranging for inspection, sampling, assaying and umpires of the various products 
•Organisation and coordination of shipments by vessel, truck, rail, multimodal through direct contact with shipping lines, warehouses, brokers, owners, brokers, etc
•Checking and calculating demurrage/despatch
•Maintenance of Credit lines, Shipping lists, Debtor Reports and Exposure Sheets

Typically, the candidate will have to spend the first six months in Lucerne/Shanghai for training.
