It is no small secret to those who know me that I have a deep and abiding love for dragons. I love them in my art, I love them in my knick knacks, in my books, my television programs, my movies, my everything. Some of my obsession can be traced back to ERAGON, when the beautiful and powerful Seraphina wormed her way into my heart. But a memory stirred in my head the other day, and I realized that my love and obsession with dragons dates all the way back to the second grade, when I read a little book called JEREMY THATCHER, DRAGON HATCHER.
The premise of JEREMY THATCHER is simple. A young boy trying to run away from school bullies takes a wrong turn and finds himself at a mysterious shop. The proprietor tells him he can purchase one item, and Jeremy finds himself drawn towards an egg. He cares for it, it eventually hatches into a dragon, and all the madcap antics of trying to keep a pet secret from your parents ensue. Eventually, the young dragon becomes too big for Jeremy to keep, and he has to return her to the mysterious shop so that she can live free as a dragon should.
The Name Bruce Lee will always be their in the heart of his fans.
No body can match his energy that he used to bring on the screen.
Sir Bruce will always be remembered as epitome of Martial arts always.
During that time, Hollywood was dealing with the prevailing cancer of racism and could not see his character outshine John Saxon. Nevertheless, the strength of the picture was in the fighting prowess of Bruce Lee.
As a young kid. I studied martial arts. I learned the fundamentals and discipline of fighting from both my training instructor
( Jim Kelly) and from studying this movie particularly. It was a joy to watch in 1973 and still delivers an authentic experience to new viewers.
You revolutionised martial arts Bruce, my idol.
Also promoted ethnic equality around the world. Taught so much more than martial arts. One of the biggest losses in the movie industry. Hope
You are resting peacefully.

Maddie and Frank are at their wit's end with the strangeness around Zach and Maddie gets too nosey, landing herself smack in the middle of his troubles. Did I mention that Helena is in town? As an FBI agent of all things, tracking down a series of demonic killings that led her right to Philly where the demon seems to be setting up shop.
The fae wilds are a twisting world of lost and ancient creatures. Some far older than Zach could imagine. Zach is in for a surprise when they discover a village of dragons that just might hold a key to his past.
The FBI is digging dangerously close to the paranormal truth. In fact, they are observing Zach like he's some mobster kingpin. Then again, with a new giant mansion filled with beautiful ladies and a hoard brimming with gold, is being the dragon king all that different?
Zach is trying to button up his business and appear innocuous to the outside world, but Norton decides to play dirty. When Norton takes the gloves off and changes the rules, is he ready for what the Dragon King has in store for him? All of this while Zach has to juggle a house full of nymphs and keep his mates satisfied.
In a city where the supernatural dances with the mundane a dragon's justice burns brighter than dragon fire. Beelzebub, The Prince of Hell's audacity to wreak havoc in Zach's turf, and bring the FBI's fury down on the dragon king, will not be forgotten. It's time for payback.
But Hell, as it happens, is no simple battlefield. It's a treacherous labyrinth where every corner seethes with the politics of demon princes. In their ruthless games, they see Zach not as a foe to be feared but as a pawn to be maneuvered.
Yet, within this intricate web of deception and power, Ikta, dances to her own tune. With her whimsical flair for chaos, she's there to flip the board and turn the game on its head. Brace yourselves for a tale that plunges you into the heart of a dragon's fury and the labyrinthine depths of Hell's intrigues. Because when you play with fire, even a dragon can get burnt.
A dragon boat team consists of 22 people: 10 pairs of paddlers, plus a person who stands in the stern and steers, and one who stands/sits facing the paddlers in the bow and calls the stroke count with a drum.
Dragon boat paddling has been around for centuries, but Dragon Boat Paddling for Breast Cancer Survivors is an international movement that was inspired by the research of Canadian sports medicine specialist Dr. Don McKenzie at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Survivors of breast cancer come together to paddle dragon boats for the benefit of their physical and social well-being. It is a movement that has taken off around the world with global dragon boat festivals and competitions.
In 2024, our group of breast cancer survivors will paddle under the umbrella of the Grey Bruce Dragon Boat Club (GBDBC) out of Owen Sound.
Membership is open to all breast cancer survivors in Grey and Bruce (the day you are diagnosed is the day you become a survivor).
For our team, no previous experience with dragon boat paddling is needed, nor is any athletic talent, and no one will be turned away! It is all about FUN, FITNESS AND FRIENDSHIP! This summer we will paddle on the Sydenham River out of Owen Sound, Wednesday evenings starting on May 22nd.
"Considering how one kid ended up getting gobbled up a couple of years ago by the supposed protector and that gave it the motive to come back, maybe the dragon would be happy to have another bite-size snack.
There is a breakout of lycanthropy within Gotham, where due to the Eclipse, people are forced to shift and succumb to their instincts out in the open. Some are lucky to make it out unscathed, but others... well, they need to be quarantined until the virus enters dormancy, but if that fails to happen, then there will be dire consequences in store.
What might the world look like if Janet had decided to stay with Bruce rather than leave and marry Jack? What would happen if Tim grew up in a loving household full of laughter and love, with a present mom, a loving dad, an indulging older brother, and a doting grandpa?
He is already half-curled around the human pup, but he throws caution into the wind and closes the distance completely, pressing around him the best he can while still being careful. Dragons run hot. The shivering, atleast, is a problem he can easily solve. The human stiffens when scales brush against skin and fabric, flinching back slightly in alarm as a rough tongue brushes against the side of his face. Saliva is more effective than just breath, and, sure enough, the cut on his face closes, and the blue tinge leaves his lips. There, much better.
