startx not working on 1.0

Hi guys. I am on 1.0 right now and I can't seem to get startx to work to get the Fluxbox desktop as mentioned in the FAQ here http://kivypie.mitako.eu/kivy-faq.html

also a side note, https://kivy.org/docs/pdf/Kivy-latest.pdf now gives a 404 error

That is very true, mistakenly built on top of the console version. Simply do:

$ sudo apt-get install fluxbox xinit x11-apps xclip xsel lxterminal xterm xserver-xorg-video-fbturbo

And you should be up and running.

Sudo apt-get fluxbox ......... no effect !!

sudo apt-get install pipaos-xgui

you can then "startx" to get the xserver gui up.
