Start on boot not working

Hi all,

I can see that this is a reoccurring issue. Nevertheless I cannot get my app to start automatically. I've done the steps as specified in faq. Furthermore, I'm able to run the rc.local file as a shell script manually from the command line with succes.

Can one of you bright heads help me troubleshoot this issue? The solution might be trivial, but I've been banging my head against the table the entire day and haven't been succesfull as of yet.

I'm using kivyPie version 1.0, and running on a Raspi3 with the official touch display.
