VideoPlayer widget in kivy-examples not working

Hi,

Fresh install of KivyPie 1.0, with updates installed

Running videoplayer.py in ~/kivy-examples/widgets/ out of the box doesn't work. The player loads OK, but won't start the video (example video ./cityCC0.mpg)

Is this just because the provider (gstplayer) doesn't like .mpg formats?

Seems to be working OK with .mp4
