Save Image and video to file from Camera Widget

Hi, I have successfully added the camera widget to my app. However I'm curious about how to save a still image or video to file from the camera. I can't seem to find it in the documentation on the camera widget. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Saving a pic could be done using camera_instance.texture.save . For video you might want to look into extending the gstreamer backend to support saving video.
