hi, just started to learn basic Kivy, it will be cool if we can learn howto compile and run the apps on our mobile phone too. hv search a bit on howto compile and all points to Bulldozer.

after more searches, the verdict we got is either we use Colab or install Ubuntu(Linux) as Bulldozer needs to run on Linux. the question is - is it possible to run Bulldozer on Windows alone? I am on Windows 10 Home 64bit + latest IntelliJ

thank you,

Robert

Yes if you use WSL, then Ubuntu is a good choice as the Buildozer documentation uses that.

note: am sorry if i send multiple times, as im new here. and after i send the reply, its not shown here. so i re-send.

hi, thanks for the recommendation. we hv thought of using WSL too, jus that we dont hv any experience with all this, so thought if there will be a Windows only solution :)

we will do some research on the WSL part, but do you hv any good online guide/tutorial on running Bulldozer + Spec file? would like some detail guide plus explanation so could learn while doing it

regards,

Robert

Correct, you cannot use Windows Command Prompt or Powershell.

If you are new to Linux, I'd suggest searching for some basic Linux (or Bash - this is the name of the program providing the command prompt) tutorial.
Not radically different, but different.
I don't have any particular suggestion, Linux support is off topic for this group.
