App crashes on smartphone during startup

Hi all

I created this Sport logger app (a bit inspired on Strava :-) ) to get more familiar with Kivy/KivyMD, Plyer... I can run the application on my computer. I created also a GPS emulator to do some testing/debugging on my computer. This week I decided the app is mature enough to make a build for my smartphone. The build is succeeding, the app starts on my smartphone, but before being fully loaded it crashes.

Help would be really appreciated. I put already some effort in creating this application, I would like to finish it and have a working build on smartphone!

You'd need to remove the Python filter to see the cause of the crash.

But looking at the KivyMD version number, you probably have this KivMD issue

I think the resolution described in that link is good, check in the KivyMD docs.
