Hey guys, If you got unexpected error is Gradlew Failed that during compile to apk. You might try this steps to solve problem quickly:

1- If you sure to applied correct steps to deploy/release process then start here,
https://buildozer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html#android-on-windows-10-or-11 please read this section clearly. Here is " These instructions were tested with WSL 1 and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and WSL2 with Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04."

2- You see might be have wrong wsl or Ubuntu version to your process. (might be latest version is need openjdk-17, but you used jdk-13) Anyway first we have to check our wsl and Ubuntu versions. Open the commnand prompt then;
wsl -l -v
You show these NAME     STATE    VERSİON
                    Ubuntu-22.04   Stopping    2
Then If you have wsl version 1 and Ubuntu 22-04 you have to upgrade to wsl 2 like this
wsl --set-version Ubuntu-22.04 2
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install#upgrade-version-from-wsl-1-to-wsl-2
If you have wsl-1 and Ubuntu 18.04 you can check other problems.
Then begin the deploy/release steps.

*Note: Please apply these steps if you have same problem on top represented. Sometimes problems are different or more simple therefore you don't need to this long process.

'gradlew failed' just means the link failed.
Before that there is always a more specific Gradle message saying why the link failed.
Where to look.....
