kivy.uix.popup background color

Hi,

I can't find a way to change the background color of the popup. It stays in the dark gray default.  I used background_color, but that changed the transparent overlay on the rest of the screen (not the popup). The API shows commands to change the text and separator line, but what about the background?

Does anyone know a solution?

Todd, I was just today finishing a new theme for kivy and I think that holds your answer. The background is a png file, I think the "modalview-background.png" is responsible for the pop-up background.

You can change the image by setting the background property. The colour acts as a tint to this, so use a white image if you want to see exactly pthe colour you set.
