TextInput not working with a barcode scanner

Hi,

For the life of me I cant find the solution to an (apparently) easy problem.

I use a barcode scanner to input data, that scanner acts as a keyboard and works every time I try to input in other place (txt editor...)

But when I try to get the value in my textinput... well I get a lot of inconsistent values, and never the right one!

It should be 5060335632272

Is this a bug?? anyone have any suggestions?

So I ran this program in another machine (x86), and it worked!! 

I am going to check whether this is a power supply problem.

Anyone knows if this behavior is ARM thing?

I encountered the same problem with raspberry pi and I added a time delay and all was alright.

It seems like the barcode scanner scans more than once and displays jumbled up results.
