Kivy,OpenCV, changing videocapture index to (0,cv2.CAP_DSHOW)

Hi,

How do I access CV2.videocapture's optional index attribute with kivy and python? I need to set it as in the title. I'm hoping this will solve errors I'm getting in Python while trying to run the 'Webcam Photo Sharer' code from Udemy's 'Python OOP' course.

Is this a question about Kivy Camera widget?

It has an index property to set the camera index.
