Hello together,

I'd like to create a label with rounded corners. I already have a border with round corners but as it seems there is not somewhat easy way to fill this border.
In 1.9.1 seems to be a class "RoundedRectangle" which seems to be a possible solution but I have troubles to install it.

I use PyCharm and Kivy 1.9.0. Importing the .whl doesn't work and I can't get a clean install of python with 1.9.1 to run. I always get a critical error "[CRITICAL          ] [App         ] Unable to get a Window, abort."

Thanks for your solutions in advance.

I forgot to mention I really don't want to use BorderImage because I need to scale the window quite freely and I need complete round corners.

It looks like you don't have 1.9.1 compiled properly. How did you try to install it?

I followed the instructions on http://kivy.org/docs/installation/installation-windows.html, downloaded the 1.9.0 into a new folder, went into the directory and named the kivy34 folder to kivy.stable. Extracted the develoment version into "Kivy-1.9.0-py3.4-win32-x64" where the kivy.bat is located and renamed the "kivy-master" folder to kivy then launched the kivy.bat cd'ed to the folder with the kivy.bat in it and typed make force (with admin priv). And the result is "ImportError: No module named 'kivy'"
