I was talking about speech to text but after testing it with 3rd party apps. I find out problem is not with stt but with microphone. after signing the aab (with the link you send). Microphone is not working or in other words even after enabling microphone, microphone is still disabled

The apk and aab used the same api version? Sometimes users change this for the aab.

Both manifest and run time RECORD_AUDIO permission is granted? Check this in the app settings on the device to see if Android thinks this.

Please try to be clearer, "enabling microphone" doesn't tell me much.

yes, pls confirm. It's just that microphone is not working in devices with android version 9+

the problem is with api version when i am keeping it 27, it is working fine but when I am keeping it 31 or 33. Microphone is not working but the problem is play store wants api more than 30

yes it uses plyer that's very bad my 8 months work gone in drain

Plyer has bit rot, the README is simply misleading.

But I expect it is possible to recover, by using the debugger to see what is failing, making a local copy of the Plyer code, reading the Java docs, and fixing the local copy.

The first thing to do is get an error message using the debugger.

This is likely a Java issue, so probably the the logcat Python filter will hide it.

A quick look at that suggests researching   args.extra_manifest_xml

I know nothing about this, I have questions.... does it really add xml code? is it available via Buildozer?
