🚀 **Kivy language tooling for VS Code, Neovim, and other editors**
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on modern editor tooling for Kivy’s KV language, and the first public releases are now available.
The project includes:
* Intelligent completion for built-in and custom widgets
* Property, option, member, and method-argument completion
* Type-aware diagnostics and KV syntax validation
* Support for `root`, `self`, `app`, `ids`, and Python-side `self.ids`
* Go to definition across KV and Python
* Translation-key completion, validation, and navigation
* Document symbols and Outline support
* Semantic highlighting
* Tree-sitter highlighting, indentation, folding, and named sections
* Support for multiline KV expressions and event handlers
### VS Code
Install **Kivy Language Tools** directly from the Marketplace:

Neovim can use the editor-independent language server together with the dedicated Tree-sitter grammar:
* Kivy LSP:

`kivy-lsp` uses the standard Language Server Protocol, so it can also be integrated with other LSP-compatible editors.
The projects are still young, so feedback, testing, bug reports, and contributions would be greatly appreciated. If you work with Kivy, please try them and let me know what would make your KV development experience better! 💙
