app.root.current does not switch screen

Hello world :-)

app.root.current = 'some_screen' does not seem switch screens on
Android. It works on local PC application.

I have a loading screen that covers current screen on api sync. After
sync is done loading screen can go to other screen or previous screen.
In addition call chain returns a dictionary with 'status' and
'message' keys so snackbar can be displayed on operation completion. I
can always see the snackbar but screen is not switched to a selected
screen leaving loading screen on top.

Debug (pudb) reveals that screen is selected correctly (variable is
assigned) but screen does not switch.

Are there any known problems with that part? :-)
