to Kivy users support
Dear all,

I have a setup consisting of the GeChic 1002 Touchscreen Monitor (https://www.gechic.com/en-portable-touch-monitor-onlap1002-overview.html) connected to an Ubuntu (16.04) Linux PC.  The touchscreen works fine with Ubuntu, and all the multitouch functions etc. are well-supported.

I have managed to install Kivy in the normal manner and have successfully programmed a number of apps etc.

However, Kivy refuses to acknowledge any input from my touchscreen monitor.  I have tried fixing this using the code:

mtdev_%(name)s = probesysfs,provider = mtdev
hid_%(name)s = probesysfs,provider = hidinput

in the /home/.kivy/config.ini file, but this has not had any effect.

Does anyone know anything else I could try to fix this issue?

Thanks,

Matthew Aquilina
