Run a local webserver with Kivy?

Wondering if this is practical, could one make a database app with kivy and still have an html 5 client app by using Kivy to act as the server? I realize this might seem a bit rube goldberg, but I already know Python, SQLAlchemy, and Angular really well, so I'm curious if it would be possible to run them all as the app stack on one device.

If anyone has experience backending locally with Kivy, I'd love to hear it!

It's possible, and a kivy module already  runs flask.
