Hi,

I've been using buildozer for a while with no problems.
Today I submitted the command buildozer appclean and then tried to compile my code with buildozer android debug deploy run (nothing unusual), and for some reason I am now getting this:

...
# Check that aidl can be executed
# Search for Aidl
# Aidl not found, please install it.

I wondered if it is a problem that I alone am experiencing or has something changed recently to cause this?

This (cryptic) message occurs when the Google licenses are not accepted.
Aidl is part of the Google sdk build tools.

I don't know of anything that changed in Buildozer/p4a that would cause you to start seeing this.

You could try deleting ~/.buildozer (not project/.buildozer)  and accepting all the license agreements on Buildozer's next run.

Thankyou Robert for the explanation and the solution - this did the trick for me and got around the problem.
