to Kivy users support
Hello,

I chose Kivy to learn to make GUI for all my python apps because I saw on the homepage "Natively use most inputs, protocols and devices", So I thought the interfaces would look native to the OS by some Python magic. However searching internet on how to create interfaces with native OS widgets, I'm starting to think from comments that it's not possible.

Is that correct? What is "Natively using inputs" then?

Thanks!

Marco

Kivy does not use native OS widgets.  It does not have the typical menus of classic Windows or Mac programs.  It is cross platform(Win, Mac, Linux, OSX, Android,  touch-friendly.  It makes it easy to create apps with a very modern look.  The KV language is a very powerful construct.

If your looking for native widgets on PC, Mac and Linux (no mobile), I’d suggest looking at WxPython, or QT (Pyside2).
