Help with using native android APIs with kivy/pyjnius

Hi
Is anyone familiar with using native android API classes like android.telephony.CellIdentity.
I am trying to autoclass them using pyjnius, but I see
jnius.jnius.JavaException: Class not found b'org/android/telephony/CellIdentityGsm'

It is a Java abstract class
