Does Anybody have a Working Kivy Camera Example?

Hello!

This example does not work on Android (compiled with buildozer).
https://kivy.org/doc/stable/examples/gen__camera__main__py.html

The examplpes found in web search do not work either (I tried first 5-6).
Maybe someone has already dedided this problem?

Kivy Camera has several issues on Android, don't waste your time..

Use this https://github.com/Android-for-Python/Camera4Kivy (read all of the docs)

Thank you! The problem is Camera4Kivy requires Android api > 29, and my app should work on older phones (the phone on which I am testing has api 22)...

Thats target api not min api, look at the tested list https://github.com/Android-for-Python/Camera4Kivy#tested-examples-and-platforms

It fits on Android 6, but is needed for Adroid 5.1.1. On Android 10 it works.
