Kivy 2.3.1 Released, supporting Python 3.8 -3 .13

The Kivy team is happy to announce the release of Kivy 2.3.1

Installation instructions and Kivy Docs are hosted on the Kivy Website (https://www.kivy.org)

Currently supported Python versions are 3.8-3.13

This is a bugfix release of the 2.3.x series, which we decided to keep updated to offer a stable solution while we develop the next major version, 3.0.0.

As stated during 2.3.0 release, support for Windows 32 bit and Python 3.7 has been removed. Instead, support for Python 3.13 has been included in this release.

thank you so much. i have been facing some problems lately, after packaging my app and installing it crashes when i open. i know the problem is coming from my supabase that i used in the app. but i involved it in my requirements in my buildozer.spec file but still yet my app still crashes

Are you sure this problem is specific to the 2.3.1 release and did not
exist in 2.3.0 release?

Yes for sure . I have tried all I can but I still get the same issue, I have been planning to compile my app and publish it but It keep on crashing due to the firebase

Ugh, this Issue should be reported on project's GitHub repo, please
provide description on how to reproduce with logs and clearly state
there is a possible regression in 2.3.1 that was not present in 2.3.0.
Maybe there will be a quick fix for that (i.e. dependencies bump /
recipes version fine tuning).
