Salut și mulțumesc că intri în asta.

Kivo e o aplicație de radio pentru Android. Alegi un post și cântă — atât. Fără reclame,
fără cont, fără abonament și fără versiune „pro" care deblochează ce trebuia să meargă de
la început. Nu se salvează niciun istoric de ascultare, nicăieri. Am făcut-o singur, în
România, și rămâne gratuită.

CUM INTRI

1. Ești deja în grup, deci pasul greu e făcut. Daca nu, apasa sus pe intra in grup.
2. Apasă linkul de mai jos, de pe telefonul pe care ai contul Google cu care ai intrat în grup:

3. Accepți să fii tester, apoi instalezi din Google Play ca pe orice aplicație.

Pagina aplicației în Google Play, după ce te-ai înscris — de aici o instalezi și o
reinstalezi oricând:

Cât ține testarea, pagina asta se vede doar pentru voi, cei înscriși. Pentru restul lumii
se deschide la lansarea publică — deci nu are rost să o trimiți mai departe încă.

Dacă îți spune că programul nu e disponibil, înseamnă că telefonul e logat cu alt cont
Google decât cel din grup. E cea mai frecventă încurcătură.

CE TE ROG, DE FAPT

Nu e de ajuns să o instalezi. **Deschide-o câte puțin în fiecare zi, timp de două
săptămâni.** Ascultă cinci minute la cafea, pune-o în mașină, las-o seara cu cronometrul de
somn. Orice, dar în fiecare zi.

Două motive, ambele reale:

Google cere ca aplicația să fie folosită efectiv de cel puțin 12 oameni, timp de 14 zile,
înainte să-mi dea voie să o public pentru toată lumea. Instalările care stau neatinse nu
contează.

Și, mai important: la o aplicație de radio problemele apar doar la folosire. Un post care
merge azi e mort mâine. Ceva se întrerupe când intri în lift. Notificarea dispare când
telefonul intră în economie de baterie. Astea nu se văd deschizând aplicația o dată.

CE MĂ AJUTĂ SĂ AUD

- Un post care nu pornește sau se oprește singur — spune-mi care, pe nume
- Lipsește un post pe care îl asculți? Zi-mi, îl adaug
- S-a oprit muzica singură, s-a blocat, a rămas notificarea agățată
- Ceva ce nu ai înțeles din prima — dacă tu n-ai înțeles, nici altul n-o să înțeleagă
- Cum merge pe telefonul tău: model și versiune de Android, dacă ai chef

Scrie direct în grup sau pe danci...@gmail.com. Nu există răspuns prea mic; „mi s-a părut
ciudat că..." e exact ce caut.

Nu vă umplu cu e-mailuri: scriu doar când apare o versiune nouă sau când repar ceva
raportat de voi.

Hi, and thanks for joining.

Kivo is an Android radio app. You pick a station and it plays — that's it. No ads, no
account, no subscription, and no "pro" version unlocking things that should have worked
from the start. No listening history is saved, anywhere. I built it on my own, in Romania,
and it stays free.

HOW TO GET IN

1. You're already in the group, so the hard part is done.
2. Tap the link below, on the phone signed in with the Google account you joined with:

3. Accept the tester invitation, then install from Google Play like any other app.

The app's Google Play page, once you've opted in — install and reinstall from here any
time:

While the test is running, that page is only visible to you, the testers. It goes live for
everyone else at public launch — so there's no point passing it on just yet.

If it says the programme isn't available, your phone is signed in with a different Google
account than the one in the group. That's the most common mix-up.

WHAT I'M ACTUALLY ASKING FOR

Installing it isn't enough. **Please open it a little every day, for two weeks.** Five
minutes with your coffee, in the car, or at night with the sleep timer. Anything — but
daily.

Two reasons, both real:

Google requires that at least 12 people genuinely use the app for 14 days before I'm
allowed to release it publicly. Installs that sit untouched don't count.

And more importantly: with a radio app, the problems only show up in use. A station that
works today is dead tomorrow. Playback breaks when you step into a lift. The notification
vanishes when the phone goes into battery saving. You don't see any of that by opening the
app once.

WHAT HELPS ME MOST

- A station that won't start, or stops by itself — tell me which one, by name
- Missing a station you actually listen to? Tell me and I'll add it
- Playback stopped on its own, the app froze, the notification got stuck
- Anything you didn't understand straight away — if you didn't, nobody else will
- How it behaves on your phone: model and Android version, if you can be bothered

Write in the group or to danci...@gmail.com. No report is too small; "it felt odd
that..." is exactly what I'm after.

I won't flood your inbox: I only post when there's a new build, or when I've fixed
something you reported.
