The office of the Returning Officer for Guild Election 2013/14 is inviting suitably qualified students to fill the following vacancies in the Guild cabinet for academic year 2013/14:
1. Guild President
2. Guild Speaker
3. General Secretary
4. Minister of Education
5. Minister of Information
6. Minister of Campus Affairs
7. Minister of Gender and Social Relations
Eligibility
1. The applicant must be a student from KIU
2. The applicant must be a student in the weekend programme
3. Masters and 3rd year students are not eligible to contest
Requirements
1. Handwritten application from the interested applicants
2. Payment of non refundable application fees
Non Refundable Fees
1. Guild President Ugx. 15,000/=
2. Other positions Ugx. 10,000/=
The application opens on 19th May 2013 and will close on 25th May 2013 at 13:00 (Uganda time).
Campaign starts on 25th May 2013 from 13:01 hours (Uganda time)
Students register will be displayed for public viewing on 25th May 2013 at 14:00 hours
Voting is on 26th May 2013 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
