kite speed and jump height are directly related. You need to get your kite moving as quickly as possible, this is achieved in two ways.

One is obviously kiteboarding quickly,

Secondly, As you send your kite to 12 MAKE SURE THE BAR IS OUT and turn the kite fast. while the kite is moving from its regular position (45deg)up to 12 o'clock the kite while generate a lot more speed if you let the bar out. Having the bar out is the key to create speed in the kite.

you then convert the speed of the kite into extra 'lift' when you pull the bar in. Pull the bar in when it hits 12 O'clock and make sure you hold the bar all the way in during your jump. Send the kite back in the direction you were originally travelling to have a soft landing.
