Looks like nothings been posted and the website hasn't been updated.
Is the Kitebot project still active? If so, I'd like to help out.

It is still active when I find time, but I haven't been updating the
site. I've made a lot of progress on the computer simulation of the
D/R. I found a white paper on Hybrid CVTs that had the kinematics
relations I hadn't been able to work out myself, got that coded up,
and it seems to work. I've also gotten a little done towards the
physical prototype, acquired a couple of flywheels (one from a
stationary bike, one from a nordic trak), and found a source for most
of the other parts I need for the initial prototype.

I only find a couple of hours to work on it per week, at best. I'd be
happy to have any help, but it's not active enough at this point that
I can suggest how one would go about that.

Jeremy,

Sorry I've been swamped and haven't had time to respond.

I want to help your cause because I believe in the idea. I don't have an
engineering bone in my body, but I do a lot of branding and marketing.

I could do information graphics, a logo, some social media to help you bring
some awareness to your idea. All of my time would be free, this isn't some
weird scam, I just want this to be successful.

Would you like to have more people in google group discussing this idea? I
could make a facebook page that tells about the kitebot, its progress. This
would create some more awareness and drive people to the discussion group.

I realize that the research, simulations and designing is probably the fun
part for you, but I imagine that if the discussion group had more people
involved it might make things easie, give you new ideas.

Would this help?
