I was able to get a good afternoon of kiting down by Pomerelle.   Just enough snow and decent wind to make it work.   

It's a 20 minute hike from the upper parking lot.  If there was more snow, one could have easily kited up the back of the ridge of the resort.  With wind in a different direction and normal snow,
one could probably get to the top of Mt Harrison.

Good job Jason.  Way to represent. 

I did Pomerelle 15+ years ago.  Always thought it had potential.

I'm pretty sure on a normal snow year this is the spot where you can get your Cinco de Mayo snowkite party.  I was at 8200'.
