This message is mostly for Don but if anyone on the list can help out seeding the torrent, that would be fantastic.
So I need some help with a torrent and Don offered a while back to help that get started. I thought I had the situation cleared up but one of my torrent guys was unable to help. Here's the process (it sounds annoying but its surprisingly easy):
1. Make sure you have the latest version of Kitchen Sink from the
website before you generate the torrent:
http://kitchensinksoftware.blogspot.com/ ... it should be
kitchensink-0.9.8.7.7z. Don't uncompress it or anything, just use that single file.
2. Follow the instructions on creating a torent here:
http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-create-a-torrent/ Except use THESE trackers instead of the trackers they list (I've had good
luck with them).
http://open.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce
http://tracker.torrentfr.org:56666/announce
http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce
http://www.torrentsnipe.info:2701/announce
(Just copy and paste them into the window for trackers.)
4. Once you create the torrent, the process should take between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on your computer's speed. You'll be asked where to save the torrent file -- just put it on your desktop or something and email it to me. Of course, please make sure you the torrent is running in your torrent client and available to the internet. That's it!
After testing the download, I'll take care of the rest and get it posted to some torrent sites as well as my site.
Please email me back if you have questions or issues. Thanks so much for helping with this. A lot of people will get a lot of use out of this so thanks from them too.
