Hello,

I am new to KISS and tried to do some tests on my new MendelMax 2 over the weekend, but with no luck.  I can slice with out issues, but I'm missing something somewhere.  When I send to the printer, hot end heats, bed heats, but not extrusion.  The tool does move on seemingly the correct path. It must be something with how I'm generating from KISS, because I can use GCode from Slic3er directly after the KISS GCode file without issues.

Mac OS-X 10.8.5
KISS or Slic3er
Mac Pronterface
Mendel Max 2.0 - RAMBo 1.2

Thanks,
Geoff

Post a SHORT program (maybe a thinwall test cube) generated using Kisslicer and Slic3er so we can see the difference between the two.

The other thing I was thinking was it might be running in "Dry Run" mode, hence no extrusion. But that's not an option I can find in Pronterface, Repetier-Host has it though.

Maybe the extruder axis is set to A B or C, and not E like it should be.

Thanks Kamil,

Tried the various extruder selections, no dice.  When I started messing with which firmware that helped.  I had been going off another post in the MendelMax group where the firmware selection was Relative E rather than Absolute E.  After that was figured out it took a couple of tests to workout Z-Lift to avoid the "lumpy first layer" and I was able to get a successful calibration cube printed, much better than Slic3r.
