When hit slice on the top right, the button changes to stop and it waits a few seconds and then the program says not responding. This happens every time and try to slice. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem.

might unrar/zip it again and see what happens

Ajay,
Try to reduce the oversample resolution to 0.1.
This solved the problem for me.

Does this happen even for very simple STL files?
